To keep the Eternal Odyssey community fair, friendly, and competitive, all accounts must strictly adhere to the following rules. Failure to comply will lead to severe disciplinary actions up to permanent account deletion.
Rule 1: Zero Tolerance for Toxic Conduct & Racism
We are dedicated to providing a high-quality gaming atmosphere. All forms of offensive, abusive, or discriminatory behavior are strictly prohibited in public channels, guild boards, and general chat:
- Racism, Xenophobia & Hate Speech: Promoting white supremacy, racial slurs, xenophobic remarks, homophobia, religious hatred, or severe discrimination of any kind is an immediate, zero-tolerance **permanent ban**.
- Severe Harassment & Doxxing: Exposing private personal information of other players (real names, photos, addresses, phone numbers) or threatening real-life violence will result in an immediate account wipe and IP ban.
- Staff Impersonation: Falsely claiming to be a Game Master (GM), community manager, or server developer to coerce other players will result in account suspension.
Rule 2: Unfair Advantage (Macro & Botting)
To maintain a genuine and competitive highscore list, gameplay must be performed by active human input.
Using unofficial clients, third-party software, macro scripts, or key-reporters to gain an unfair progression speed is strictly forbidden:
- Automated Hunting & Healing: The use of bots to auto-hunt, auto-run caves, or auto-heal during fights is strictly forbidden.
- Active Auditing: GMs and staff members conduct random, live anti-botting verification audits. Failing to respond to an audit while active in combat will be treated as botting.
- Penalties: First offense is a character level reduction and jail sentence. Subsequent offenses result in permanent character deletion.
Rule 3: Bug Abuse & Exploits
If you discover a bug, glitch, map gap, or item duplication exploit within the game, you are required to report it immediately to the staff via the support portal.
⚠️ EXPLOITATION PENALTY
Intentional abuse of mechanical errors, map bugs, or duplicate item glitches to gather gold, items, or levels will lead to **immediate character deletion and permanent IP bans**. All items acquired via exploits will be deleted, and players who helped hide or transfer the items will be banned.
Rule 4: Referral System & Multi-Account Abuse
Our referral system rewards users for introducing real new players to Eternal Odyssey. Abusing the system for personal gain will not be tolerated:
- Self-Referral Prohibition: Creating duplicate accounts under identical IPs or hardware IDs to buy premium points on a secondary account and claim the 5% cash or point commission on your main account is prohibited.
- Penalties: We flag shared payment methods and matching registration IPs. Accounts violating referral mechanics will have their referral links **suspended permanently**, commissions revoked, and points balances zeroed.
Rule 5: Real Money Trading (RMT)
Trading virtual goods (gold, items, characters) for real-world currency outside of our official store systems is strictly prohibited.
We do not support private real-money transactions, and engaging in them poses severe security risks (hacking, chargebacks, scams).
Any player caught advertising, buying, or selling gold/items for real-world fiat currency (PayPal, Pix, bank transfers, crypto) will be permanently banned.
